Solbakken to bring in one of his own as Wolves bid 1m for Norwegian Demidov

Wolves are closing in on a 1million deal for Real Sociedad centre back Vadim Demidov, 25.

Stale Solbakken is using his knowledge of Norwegian football to bring in the 25-year-old, who has 15 caps.

The defender played against England in their recent friendly and will give Wolves much needed experience in a suspect area.

However, the Midlands club could face late competition from Eintracht Frankfurt.
