Gareth Bale scored another stunning goal to ensure Tottenham left Upton Park with all three points.

Jussi Jaaskelainen appeared to have kept the Hammers on terms after some remarkable second-half saves, but the Welshman carried the ball to the edge of the box in the 90th minute before letting fly with an unstoppable curling shot, notching up his ninth goal in seven games for club and country.

Bale had opened the scoring before Andy Carroll equalised from the spot. Joe Cole put the hosts ahead, but Gylfi Sigurdsson put Andre Villas-Boas' side back in the game, making things 2-2 with his close-range effort 14 minutes from time.
