Big-spenders PSG weigh up January move for Villas-Boas cast-off Kalou
Paris Saint-Germain could offer Salomon Kalou a way out of Chelsea in January.
The Ivory Coast forward is one of six Blues stars that manager Andre Villas-Boas is prepared to sell in January – as Sportsmail revealed this week.
And former Chelsea hero Claude Makelele, now a sporting advisor at PSG, and Alain Roches, the club”s recruitment chief, have identified Kalou as a potential signing, according to French daily L”Equipe.

Juventus are also interested in the Blues striker but his involvement in the Africa Cup of Nations may delay any approach.
PSG must also decide whether Kalou”s involvement at the tournament, held between January 21 and February 12 makes his signing worthwhile.

PSG are an attractive prospect thanks to their super-rich Qatari owners, who are on a mission to turn the French club into a European powerhouse. David Beckham is at the top of their shopping list.
Kalou is out of contract next summer and is free to sign a pre-contract deal with a foreign club in January, while Arsenal have always shown interest in him.
