Mario Balotelli was famed for his erratic behaviour during his time at Manchester City and he clearly hasn't lost touch with his enigmatic side since his return to Italy.

The volatile forward found an unusual place to put his head down as he was pictured sleeping on a luggage shelf in a train along with team-mates M'Baye Niang and Stephan El Shaarawy.

20-year-old El Shaarawy, who is nicknamed 'The Pharaoh', posted this picture on Twitter of him and his Milan colleagues.

Everton have agreed a 2million deal for Caen starlet M'Baye Niang with the forward expected to sort out personal terms over the next couple of days.

Niang impressed David Moyes during a recent trial on Merseyside and the Toffees boss has pipped Arsenal, Tottenham and AC Milan to the teenager.

Moyes is continuing to spend the 15m windfall from the sale of Jack Rodwell to Manchester City.

The move is another transfer blow for Arsene Wenger. The Arsenal boss was keen on Niang but was only offering a small part of the fee up front.

The capture of Niang, who has represented France at every youth level up to Under 21, follows the arrival of Belgian Kevin Mirallas at Goodison Park.

Tottenham have scouted Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue and firmed up interest in Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila with a 12million offer.

Manager Andre Villas-Boas is keen to tie up midfield targets with Luka Modric's situation yet to be resolved and Scott Parker out for two months with an Achilles injury.

Tottenham scouts watched Capoue, 24, against Montpellier on Friday and then took in Rennes' game with Lyon on Saturday. Rennes want closer to 17m for M'Vila though.

City also have an interest in Tottenham defender Steven Caulker, 20, who is valued at around 15m.

Arsenal face increased competition from a number of Europe's biggest clubs for Caen star M'Baye Niang.

Club president Jean-Francois Fortin confirmed the Gunners are back in for the 17-year-old striking whizz after seeing an initial bid of 5million knocked back.

Niang spent time on trial with Arsene Wenger's side last month, but was also invited to both Tottenham and Manchester City.

The France youth made his
breakthrough at Caen in 2011 while also appeared twice for the
international Under 21 team. However despite some impressive individual
performances in the previous campaign, he was unable to save the club
relegation.

Now he is almost certain to leave and Fortin says the star's future will be sorted by the time the Premier League kicks off.

'Arsenal made me a propostition,' he
told L'Equipe. 'Other clubs are interested: two in England and one in
Italy. I think there will be an issue here for a fortnight.'
