Real Madrid outcast Kaka has set his sights on a move to America, according to his brother Digao.

The former AC Milan playmaker has
been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu in the summer after the
Rossoneri failed to re-sign him in the January transfer window due to
financial reasons.

Kaka has expressed interest in moving to the MLS and younger brother Digao, a defender with the New York Red Bulls, has been taking steps to persuade him to join him.

'It's hard to say. Football changes very rapidly. It is a dream that he has, to come and play in the USA, and hopefully it will come true soon,' Digao told Goal.com.

'I think he's been very curious about football in the United States and New York and about my experience living here.

'I've been relaying good things to him. He's expressed his interest in one day playing in the United States.'

Frank Lampard's hopes of heading out to the US to play in the MLS have been dealt another blow after David Beckham told his former club LA Galaxy to sign Real Madrid midfielder Kaka.

The 35-year-old midfielder had looked set to leave Chelsea in January with the Galaxy exploring ways of bringing Beckham's former England team-mate to the club.

But last week Tim Leiweke – the President of AEG, the company that owns the Galaxy – revealed that the club were looking to lure the Brazilian to the MLS, a move which Beckham has now thrown his weight behind.

'If there were any chance of bringing Kak to Galaxy, I’m sure that the owners would do everything possible to make it happen,' said Beckham.

'I think that any team would want Kak,' he added, 'only a few years ago he was voted the best player in the world.

'We’d welcome any player of his skill and calibre at Galaxy.'

Seven of Saturday”s starting 11 will miss Tuesday”s Copa del Rey tie against minnows Ponferradin but Ronaldo has been named along with outcast Kaka and two academy players in a much-changed squad for the last 32 first leg.

Mourinho said: “If he is like me he doesn’t listen to whistling.

“He was affected by losing a match, as we all were, but without ever losing his emotional balance.

“It’s normal that he is sadder today than he was 15 days ago but there is no drama about his situation.”

Mourinho also dismissed suggestions that his side are inferior to Barcelona following their defeat in El Clasico.

Real Madrid went down 3-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu despite taking the lead after just 23 seconds and are now second behind Barca, who have played a game less.

“There is no feeling of inferiority,” Mourinho said. “I wouldn’t change our situation with anyone else’s.

“My motivation is as strong as ever. Leaders in the Champions League, (joint) leaders in La Liga and you are asking me about motivation”
