Ki switch to Swansea set to be completed as club agree terms with 5m man

Swansea expect to wrap up their record-breaking 5million deal for Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng by the weekend.
The South Korea international has agreed personal terms with chairman Huw Jenkins and will arrive in south Wales on Friday for a medical.
Barring any unforeseen complications, Ki will become Swansea’s most expensive signing, eclipsing the 3.5m Jenkins paid for Danny Graham last summer, but it’s understood they will not be able to register the 23-year-old in time for Saturday’s lunchtime clash with West Ham at the Liberty Stadium.
Incoming: Swansea have agreed terms for the transfer of Ki Sung-yueng
Ki will become the seventh player signed by Michael Laudrup this summer – following the arrivals of Michu, Jose Manuel Flores, Jonathan de Guzman, Kyle Bartley, Jamie Proctor and Itay Shechter – and another big move could yet follow for Valencia’s Pablo Hernandez.
Swansea failed with a 4m bid for the Spain winger as Valencia are determined to hold out for 5m, but with Scott Sinclair set to join Manchester City Jenkins is likely to make an improved offer in the coming days.
