Premier League new boys Reading began their pre-season campaign with a 7-0 demolition of League Two side AFC Wimbledon.
Brian McDermott named new signings Danny Guthrie and Garath McCleary in his first half line-up and handed Nicky Shorey his second Reading debut in the second half, giving a total of 23 of his players a run-out against the Dons.

More than 600 Royals fans made the short trip to Kingston and were rewarded with a goal glut at Kingsmeadow.
Adam Le Fondre set them on their way by scoring a 26th minute penalty after strike partner Noel Hunt had
been tripped by Aaron Downes inside the box.
Le Dondre added a second just before the interval, latching
onto a 40-yard pass from Kaspars Gorkss and lifting the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper Seb Brown and into the back of the net.

Simon Church: hat-trick hero
Both teams rang the changes at the break but Reading went from strength to strength.
Michail Antonio powered a good header home from Jordan Obita's cross in the 50th minute,
before Simon Church nodded home two minutes later and then tapped in his second.
Obita's left-footed effort arrowed into the bottom right
corner to make it six and Church completed a 15minute hat-trick with a low shot past the keeper to cap the rout.
