Mancini to pen new 5m-a-year deal and become highest paid Premier League boss
Manchester City have opened talks with manager Roberto Mancini over extending the Italian”s contract.
The three-and-half-year deal would see Mancini become the Premier League”s highest paid manager, bringing in 5million a year.

Mancini took over at Eastlands back in 2009 and has brought the club on leaps and bounds in his two years in charge.
The Italian brought FA Cup success and Champions League qualification last season, and has guided to the club to the top of the Premier League this campaign.

Juventus and AC Milan have both already tried to lure Mancini back to Italy, and aware of the interest in their manager, City are keen to see Mancini extend his deal.
The 47-year-old has no plans to leave in the near future as he intends to make City a major European force, and he is expected to put pen to paper in the new year.
