Follow Sportsmail's coverage of the Barclays Premier League as Reading host Southampton at the Madejski Stadium to begin the weekend's action.
The Royals are rock bottom of the table and are desperate for a victory that would take them within four points of safety. But they take on a Saints side that have improved in the second half of the campaign and will be targeting a third successive win to ease their own relegation fears.

12.20pm: Just a little more detail on the teams:
Reading manager Nigel Adkins makes five changes to his side. Adam Federici returns in goal after an ankle injury, while Sean Morrison, Chris Gunter, Hope Akpan and Adam Le Fondre come in after the 4-1 defeat at Arsenal.
Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino meanwhile makes one alteration at the Madejski Stadium, with Gaston Ramirez coming in for Jason Puncheon.
12.10pm: This has the makings of a cracking game, in my humble opinion. Reading are in desperate need of the points which means they'll be even more vulnerable than usual.
Southampton meanwhile are on something of a roll after fine back-to-back victories over Liverpool and Chelsea.
And I haven't mentioned Nigel Adkins taking on his old team.
What more could you ask for
