United's victory over Arsenal tempered by injury to Jones as defender is carried off
Manchester United's title challenge remains on track after their 2-1 win over Arsenal – but Phil Jones gave Sir Alex Ferguson another injury headache.
The defender pulled up while tracking Theo Walcott and suffered an ankle injury just 16 minutes into the game.
United confirmed Jones had twisted his ankle and will have further tests on Monday while Wayne Rooney was also limping at the end after a challenge from Alexandre Song.

United were already without Rio Ferdinand, who failed to make the squad for Sunday's clash and Nemanja Vidic who is out for the rest of the season.
Having taken the lead through Antonio Valencia in first-half injury time, United were pegged back when Robin van Persie fired home in the second half.
But the visitors grabbed all three points when Danny Welbeck rifled home the winner with ten minutes remaining.
