Mario cleans up! Man City striker's car shiny again after egg-throwing prank
Mario Balotelli may have scored the winning goal in Manchester City's crucial victory over Tottenham on Sunday – but by the looks of his spotless Bentley it doesn't appear as though the controversial striker spent his evening celebrating.
Balotelli was left red-faced after his 120,000 car was reportedly targeted by egg-throwing United fans while he enjoyed dinner at a Manchester restaurant.
Foul play: Balotelli's car came under attack while it was parked outside San Carlo restaurant in Manchester
All white on the night: Balotelli's motor showed no signs of the egg-throwing antics from the previous night
The Italian forward, under fire for
appearing to stamp on the head of Spurs midfielder Scott Parker during
the Premier League clash, was forced to abandon his table and move his
yolk-splattered Bentley to a nearby multi-storey car park.
But it was a different story on
Monday morning as Balotelli arrived at City's Carrington training ground with his Bentley sporting no
sign of the damage done from the previous evening.
'He'd parked down a side street but unfortunately it was parked right next door to a well-known Man United pub,' a source is quoted in The Sun newspaper.
No yolk: Balotelli was left with egg on his face after being forced to return to his 120k Bentley GT
'Loads of fans were in there watching the later Arsenal game and they must have come out and seen his car.
'They pelted his roof with eggs. The yolk was dripping down all one side. It was pretty disgusting.
'I don't know where they got their eggs from but there is a Sainsbury's just yards away. I'm not sure if Mario saw them do it but he came rushing out of the restaurant and moved the car into the multi-storey.'
