Roberto Mancini is considering a shock recall for Mario Balotelli in Monday's crucial Manchester derby.
The volatile striker has been suspended since Manchester City played Arsenal, a game in which he was sent off for two bookable offences but also committed a horrific tackle on Gunners midfielder Alex Song.
After the match Italian manager Mancini said he was considering selling his countryman in the summer as he could not put up with Balotelli's bad behaviour any more.

But in an interview with France Football, Mancini said: 'Despite some stupid things he has done, Mario has done some important things, like his double strike at Old Trafford this season.
'With him anything anything is possible. It’s difficult to say today if I will recall Balotelli but everyone is available and I will make my choice on Sunday.'
The 22-year-old pleaded to stay at City after his latest misdemanour and it appears Mancini has forgiven him.

Mancini admitted: 'It’s like a family when a child does stupid things. The affection of the parents is still there.
'He’s young and he commits big mistakes that can put the team in difficulty.

'But I still think he has great talent and I hope he will be a City player next season. It’s all in his hands.'
City trail neighbours United by three points going into Monday's crunch clash. If they beat their rivals they will go top of the Barclays Premier League on goal difference.
