Sir Alex Ferguson has spoken of his sadness at the murder of the two policewomen killed in a grenade and gun attack.
His players will wear black armbands during Wednesday night's Champions League encounter with Galatasaray at Old Trafford in honour of Fiona Bone and Nicola Hughes.
Pc Bone, 32, and Pc Hughes, 23, had been sent to investigate what appeared to be a routine burglary report in Hattersley, Greater Manchester, yesterday when they were attacked. Wanted fugitive Dale Cregan, 29, later handed himself into a nearby police station.
