Robert Mancini cut a focused figure as he lead his Manchester City stars from their City Centre hotel base ahead of tonight's title-deciding Manchester derby.

The City boss received a welcome boost ahead of kick-off against rivals United – who lead City by three points in the race for the Barclays Premier League crown – after Carlos Tevez stated his intention to STAY at the Etihad Stadium.

The Argentine's admission comes just six games after returning from a five-month exile following his infamous fallout with the Italian manager last September in Germany.

Tevez is set to start against his former club alongside compatriot Sergio Aguero. The pair have been in scintillating form of late and Mancini reckons it is the player's 'destiny' to score this evening.

Bad boy striker Mario Balotelli is also in line for a return after serving his three-match suspension.

The Italian firebrand was sent off in City's defeat to Arsenal earlier this month but could come off the bench tonight with Mancini hoping for a repeat of his two-goal performance in the 6-1 win over United at Old Trafford last October.
