Israeli outfit confirm City want midfielder Biton in loan deal
Manchester City are having talks with Israeli outfit MS Ashdod about signing midfielder Nir Biton.
The 20-year-old impressed on trial at City, and he could be joining the club on loan until the end of the season, with view to a permanent move.
Ready to make his move: Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini
Ashdod owner Jacky Ben Zaken told the Jewish
Chronicle: 'They want to take him on loan immediately and want
an option to buy him in the future.'
City aren't the only club to have taken an interest in Biton, with Everton and Aston Villa also watching him in recent weeks.
City boss Roberto Mancini has been told by the club's wealthy owners that he wouldn't have new funds to buy players in the January transfer window.
