City eye United youngsters as Pogba and Morrison”s contracts run down
Manchester City could fuel the rivalry with United by snapping up two of their best up-and-coming youngsters Ravel Morrison and Paul Pogba.
Both Pogba and Morrison are out of contract at the end of season and City are best-placed if neither players agrees a new deal.
Pogba impressed after coming off the bench in United”s otherwise poor Carling Cup quarter-final defeat to Crystal Palace last month, and is available to speak to clubs from January.

And while Morrison”s off-field problems have remained a distraction, his performances on the pitch have impressed the club sufficiently to persist with the 18-year-old winger.
Although both would be deemed “free” moves, United would be entitled to compensation for development costs because both players are under 24.
However, Sir Alex Ferguson wants to keep Morrison and Pogba and sees their inclusion in the first-team squad and Carling Cup ties as confirmation of this, according to the Daily Express.
