British sprinter Marlon Devonish says he has no problem running with Dwain Chambers in the Olympic relay team.

Chambers is set to have his Olympic ban lifted by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, meaning he is likely to compete in the 100 metres and 4x100m relay at London 2012.

And Devonish, who won relay gold at the Athens Games in 2004, says it improves Britain’s chances of a medal.

No worries: Marlon Devonish will happily run with Dwain Chambers in the relay

‘I’ve got no problem passing the baton to him or receiving it from him,’ said Devonish.

‘People make mistakes. ‘Dwain should make the relay team stronger because he’s been the fastest sprinter in Britain in the last few years.

‘It is about us doing well and the relay is our best chance.’
