Swansea snap up McEachran as Chelsea youngster seals Rodgers reunion
Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran has completed his loan move to Swansea.
Swans boss Brendan Rodgers beat off competition from Aston Villa and Bolton to land McEachran until the end of the season.
McEachran made his debut last season and has played five times this term. He signed a five-year contract in the summer but will spend the next few months with former Blues reserves boss Rodgers at the Liberty Stadium.
Experience: Josh McEachran will spend the rest of the season with Swansea
The England Under 21 ace will not be able to play against his parent club in Wales on January 31.
And McEachran wasted no time settling in as he tweeted on Tuesday afternoon: 'Good first training session with Swansea! I'm starting to like the city already.'
Meanwhile, Patrick van Aanholt will spend the rest of the campaign on loan at Dutch outfit Vitesse Arnhem.
Van Aanholt has been on Chelsea's books since 2007 and the 21-year-old has already enjoyed loan spells with Coventry, Newcastle, Leicester and Wigan.
The Holland Under 21 defender signed a four-year deal last May.
