Davis Love has to integrate five rookies into his American Ryder Cup side, but Europe's Jose Maria Olazabal has no such headache.
Nicolas Colsaerts is the only European player travelling to Medinah in Chicago next week who has not played in the event, and there is no suggestion that the 29-year-old will not take to it like to a duck to water.
No worries: Nicolas Colsaerts looks to be in good form
The big-hitting Belgium, ranked the longest driver on both the European and US Tours, is in brilliant form.
On Saturday, in the BMW Italian open third round in Turin, he shot a seven-under-par 65 to be four shots behind South African leader Garth Mulroy as he bids to extend a run that has seen team-mates Rory McIlroy, Paul Lawrie, Sergio Garcia and Peter Hanson win in recent weeks.
Colsaerts said: 'There's nothing lately that intimidates me. I know I am playing well and doing the right things.
Experienced: Ryder Cup captain Jose Maria Olazabal
'What really matters is to get to Medinah as prepared as I can be and in the best set of mind.'
More good news for Olazabal in Italy was Martin Kaymer confirming his return to form by shooting a 67 in the third round for a seven under total.
