Target man: Jonas Olsson
Spurs are set to capture a defensive double in Jonas Olsson and Jan Vertonghen – despite the uncertainty over manager Harry Redknapp.
Sportsmail understands that the 65-year-old's reign as White Hart Lane boss is likely to come to an end today, with the club refusing to offer him a new contract in a tactic to force him out.
But chairman Daniel Levy is pressing on with the club's summer transfer plans with a deal for 7million Ajax captain Vertonghen imminent.
West Bromwich Albion centre-half Olsson is next, however, with Spurs hoping to seal his services in a 4m move after Euro 2012, according to The Mirror.

Olsson is set to start for Sweden against England in Kiev on Friday and is desperate to quite the Hawthorns following former boss Roy Hodgson's switch to take charge of the Three Lions.
The 29-year-old has just one year left on his current contract giving Spurs hope of driving a cut-price deal.
