John Terry was greeted by jeers as he took to the field in Saturday's match between Arsenal and Chelsea just two days after he was found guilty of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand by the FA.

But the Blues skipper had the last laugh as his side emerged 2-1 winners but not before Gunners fans had their say, giving him the usual jeers and insults.

'You know what you are,' sung the

Anton Ferdinand race row case.

Chelsea fans responded by reminding the north Londoners of Terry's success both domestically and in Europe.

But the visitors backed their captain
loudly, singing 'John Terry has won the double,' as they mocked their
rivals for their lack of silverware in the last seven years.

The Emirates ended up with 'Champions of Europe, we know what we are' echoing around it as Chelsea secured their victory.

Blues fans also reserved some anger
for the Football Association, who slapped Terry with a four-game ban and
220,000 fine for 'misconduct'.

'F*** the FA, f*** the FA, one England captain, f*** the FA,' they chanted.

Terry is yet to decide whether he will appeal against the FA punishment for the Ferdinand incident.

Funnily enough, it was Terry who was partially culpable for Gervinho's goal.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain cut the ball in from the right and both Terry and his defensive partner David Luiz just backed away, leaving the Ivorian all the time in the world to turn and slam home.

It cancelled out Fernando Torres' opener, scored after poor defending from Arsenal. Juan Mata netted the winner with a free-kick which snuck in at the far post after a nick off of Laurent Koscielny.

Terry finished off by taking off his boots and handing them to a young Chelsea fan in the crowd.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo said after the game of Terry's performance: 'Very good. He showed his leadership today again and I was right to pick him.'
