England goalkeeper Butland will only leave Birmingham for first-team football

Goalkeeper Jack Butland insists he won’t leave Birmingham just to sit on the bench for another side.
The 19-year-old has won one England cap and was in goal for Team GB during the Olympics last summer.
Despite Butland being Birmingham's No 1, they are keen to get their hands
on the potential 6million his sale could generate.

Four Barclays Premier League sides – Liverpool, Everton, Southampton
and Fulham – already having expressed an interest.
They are facing the worrying prospect of going into administration if they can’t raise funds from the sale of more players.
Liverpool are the preferred option for Butland, but there will only be a spot for him if Pepe Reina makes his expected move to Arsenal.
Butland is confident that he can make the step up from the Championship, having said in December: 'I don’t think the occasion would be a problem. I’d back myself and my ability. I want to be playing at the top level for as long as I can in my career.'
