Harlequins stick by bad boy Care for Northampton clash
Danny Care has been told to help Premiership leaders Harlequins to success at Northampton after his week of shame.
Care was dropped from England’s Six
Nations squad following his arrest on New Year’s Eve for a drink-drive
offence, and Quins imposed a 10,000 fine.

But they have picked the scrum-half, 25, to face a Northampton team who include another troubled England player in wing Chris Ashton, returning after a month’s suspension.
Quins director of rugby Conor O’Shea said: ‘It might be the best thing that he plays. It’s a big ask, but he might be able to lose himself and concentrate on playing. Danny has paid a big price.’
Ashton, who has been linked to a move to Saracens next season, starts despite Northampton director of rugby Jim Mallinder warning he had other capable wings. It is understood Ashton, 24, will decide on his future next month.
