Hands off! Bale and Modric are going nowhere, says Redknapp

Harry Redknapp expects star midfielders Gareth Bale and Luka Modric to remain at Tottenham in the summer, even if the club do not qualify for the Champions League.
Spurs' qualification for Europe's elite competition looked a certainty at the turn of the year, but a run of just one win in nine Premier League games has seen them slip down to fifth place.
Going nowhere: Bale is wanted by Barcelona
Bale has been heavily linked with Barcelona, while Chelsea are expected to come back in for Modric this summer, but Redknapp insists the pair are staying put.
When asked if he expected them to leave if Spurs did not qualify for the Champions League, Redknapp told Sky Sports News: 'No.
'When they came to the club Tottenham were nowhere near the Champions League.

'They're at a great club, there's no reason why they would suddenly want to leave. There's not too many clubs they could go to that are better than Tottenham.'
But asked if the pair are not for sale at any price, Redknapp conceded that that decision would lie in the hands of chairman Daniel Levy, but reiterated that he expects the pair to stay.
He added: 'I don't make the decisions, the chairman runs things in terms of finances. But we're not a selling club.'
