Everton 2 Newcastle 2: Ba earns late point but Toffees fume over TWO disallowed goals

Demba Ba snatched a point for Newcastle in the dying moments of a pulsating Premier League clash that will be argued about long after the final whistle had blown.

Victor Anichebe thought he'd ensured two questionable decisions by the linesman didn't rob Everton of a deserved win when he struck with three minutes to go.

The striker had already seen an effort that clearly crossed the line be waved away by the officials, and that came after Marouane Fellaini had seen a strike of his own chalked off for offside despite replays showing he was behind the last defender.

Leighton Baines had put the hosts in front after 15 minutes with a well-taken strike from just inside the area, only to see that cancelled out by Ba four minutes after the Senegalese had come on as a half-time substitute.
