Ban: Denmark coach Morten Olsen
Denmark have banned players from updating social media websites like Twitter and Twitter during the Euro 2012.
Coach Morten Olsen has told the players to focus on the tournament and wants 'the 24-7 open microphone' to be shut down.
But Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen
has called it 'a shame' that players can not tell fans what they do
'without revealing tactics.'
Danish football federation spokesman Lars Behrendt said the squad will
send numerous updates to fans via the team's own social media sites
beside the regular press conferences.
Sports Minister Uffe Elbaek said it was the DBU's decision but said his first thought was 'a violation of the freedom of speech.'
