Sunderland manager Martin O’Neill has told Scotland keeper Craig Gordon he will have to take a major pay-cut if he wants to stay at The Stadium of Light.
Gordon made his comeback after a lengthy absence in the 2-2 draw with Bolton on Saturday.

His current deal runs out this summer and Celtic have been strongly linked with a move.
But they are only offering 650,000-a-year for a potential free agent.
Gordon earns around twice that much with the Black Cats, but O’Neill – who also has Keiren Westwood on the books – wants to offer him less to stay.
