Follow Sportsmail's coverage of the Barclays Premier League as Chelsea host QPR at Stamford Bridge to kick off Sunday's action. There is plenty at stake in the west London derby with the Blues chasing a top-four spot and the Hoops battling against relegation.

CHELSEA 3 QPR 0

Chelsea: Cech, Ferreira, Bosingwa, Terry, Cole, Mata, Essien, Lampard, Sturridge, Torres, Kalou.

Subs: Turnbull, Romeu,Ramires, Drogba, Malouda, Meireles, Hutchinson.

Goals: Sturrudge 1, Terry 14, Torres 18

QPR: Kenny, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Taiwo, Mackie, Barton, Derry, Buzsaky, Cisse, Zamora.

Subs: Cerny, Gabbidon, Campbell, Traore, Young, Smith, Wright-Phillips.

Referee: Howard Webb (S Yorkshire)

25 mins: GOAL! Chelsea 4 QPR 0: Torres is on fire, just as I was saying earlier(!). He takes advantage of a terrible fumble by Kenny to fire Chelsea even further ahead.

24 mins: I know Neil Warnock hasn't exactly set the heather alight at Leeds, in fact its barely smouldering, but he must be smiling smugly to himself as QPR flounder here. If they conceede another eight goals, they'll slip into relegation.

22 mins: Bobby Zamora looks frustrated. His move to Fulham hasn't exactly gone to plan, has it. Safe to say we won't be seeing him at Euro 2012.

19 mins: My esteemed colleague James Andrew thought QPR would get a draw today and put his money where his mouth is. Fair to say he's the bookie's best friend. And away to cry gently to himself.

18 mins: GOAL! Chelsea 3 QPR 0: Torres is played through on goal and, much like his goal at Barcelona, he rounds the keeper and slots home. Game over.

17 mins: Sportsmail's Matt Lawton reports: 'Predictably, but depressingly, Anton Ferdinand getting lots of stick off Chelsea supporters.'

15 mins: Poor defending from the visitors at that corner and they really are up against it now. Smiling faces in Bolton and Wigan I'm hearing.

14 mins: GOAL! Chelsea 2 QPR 0: John Terry heads home the corner and gives his Chelsea badge a nice pat.

13 mins: Could easily be 3-0 by now. Lampard attempts a chip from the edge of he box which Kenny does well to tip it over.

12 mins: Fernando Torres might have scored against Barcelona but lets be honest, I could have scored that one. It doesn't mean he's suddenly good again. Meanwhile, Chelsea win a corner which Terry volleys goalwards but Kenny holds it comfortably.

10 mins: John Terry is of course booed by the QPR fans whenever he gets on the ball. Nothing to report on the home crowd's reaction to Anton Ferdinand thus far.

9 mins: Sturridge has been at the centre of much of Chelse's good play. He feeds Mata on the edge of the box but the Spaniard gets the ball caught under his feet.

7 mins: Indeed, Rangers have picked up five red cards under Mark Hughes. But the manager, of course, claims it doesn't reflect his side. Of course it doesn't…

6 mins: The visitors have little choice but to attack now and they come forward through Cisse but his shot from range is hopeless. The Frenchman has either scored, or been sent off, when he has appeared for QPR. What will it be

5 mins: Bosingwa goes for goal but his shot is deflected behind for a corner which is sent in towards Terry but cleared by the QPR defence.

Opener: Daniel Sturridge is mobbed as he celebrates scoring for Chelsea in the first minute

Opener: Daniel Sturridge is mobbed as he celebrates scoring for Chelsea in the first minute

4 mins: All Chelsea in the early stages, Kalou feeds Sturridge but he can't get on the end of the pass.

2 mins: Well, if QPR were hoping to contain Chelsea for a while, their game plan is well and truly out of the window now. Stunning strike from Sturridge though.

1 min: GOAL! Chelsea 1 QPR 0: Daniel Sturridge cuts in from the left and unleashes an unstoppable shot past Paddy Kenny.

1.30pm: Off and running…

1.28pm: Minutes away from kick off at Stamford Bridge.

1.25pm: There will be no handshake drama today as the Premier League ruled that the sides would not greet each other due to the legal situation surrounding John Terry and Anton Ferdinand.

Terry has however used his programme notes to apologise for his red card against Barcelona.

The Chelsea captain wrote: 'I want to
start my notes today by saying how sorry I am for getting sent off at
the Camp Nou and for putting the players, the manager and the club in
that situation so early on in such an important game.'

1.20pm: Jose Bosingwa starts at centre-back as Chelsea make six changes for today's Barclays Premier League clash with QPR.

The Blues rest several of their Champions League heroes, as well as recalling Fernando Torres, Daniel Sturridge, Salomon Kalou, Paulo Ferreira and Michael Essien.

QPR make two changes for the west London derby, Djibril Cisse playing for the first time since his latest ban and Akos Buzsaky also recalled.

1.15pm: The teams are in:

Chelsea: Cech, Ferreira, Bosingwa, Terry, Cole, Mata, Essien, Lampard, Sturridge, Torres, Kalou.

Subs: Turnbull, Romeu,Ramires, Drogba, Malouda, Meireles, Hutchinson.

QPR: Kenny, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Taiwo, Mackie, Barton, Derry, Buzsaky, Cisse, Zamora.

Subs: Cerny, Gabbidon, Campbell, Traore, Young, Smith, Wright-Phillips.

Referee: Howard Webb (S Yorkshire)

1.10pm: At the other end of the table, QPR remain above the relegation zone by virtue of goal difference after Bolton earned a point at Sunderland yesterday. Wigan are three points above Rangers as the continue their march towards safety.

1.05pm: Chelsea will be hoping to take advantage of Arsenal and Newcastle's dropped points. The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw at Stoke while Alan Pardew's men were stunned at Wigan, losing 4-0. Of course, Roberto Di Matteo's side won't need to finish fourth if they win the Champions League final against Bayern Munich on May 19.

1pm: Welcome to Sportsmail's coverage of Chelsea's clash with Queens Park Rangers. Plenty at stake today, especially after yesterday's results at both ends of the table.
