Genk winger De Bruyne was not my choice, admits Chelsea boss Villas-Boas
Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed
Chelsea are closing in on Kevin de
Bruyne – but he admitted the 9million Genk winger is not a
player he has chosen personally.
De Bruyne, who will sign a
contract, has been a
long-term target of
the club. Villas-Boas,
said: 'It is a target
decided by the club.

'He is a player the club have scouted for some time and I am a manager who respects club policy.
'A club have to look to the future whether it's with this manager or another. He's a good bet for the future. I will do everything in my power for him to reach maximum potential.'
Chelsea are still keen to sign Brazil midfielder Lucas Moura, a 19-year-old valued at more than 30m by Sao Paulo.
