British veteran Michael Sprott furiously shoved a boxing referee to the ground on Saturday night after his fight was called off in the fourth round.
Kazakhstan's Edmund Gerber hit the 37-year-old from Reading with a heavy right which sent him crashing to the canvas, even though Sprott had been on top in the fight.

Referee Gerhard Sigl asked the fighter if he could carry on after Sprott made it to his feet at the count of four, and though he indicated he would at the count of eight, Sigl decided to end the contest.
Sprott was enraged and shouted at the official, pushed him and eventually forced the Swiss referee to the ground, at the Stechert Arena in Germany.
Arguably the referee made a mistake in calling the fight to an end too soon, but Sprott is likely to receive a deserved ban for his actions.
