Peter Ebdon and Barry Hawkins will battle it out for this year's Australian Open title.

champion, advanced to the best-of-19 frame decider with an impressive
6-2 semi-final victory over Hong Kong's Marco Fu at the Bendigo Stadium
in Victoria.

Compatriot Barry Hawkins saw off Mark Davis 6-4 to seal a place in his first ranking final.

'I've waited a long time to be in a ranking final, now I want to do myself justice and win a tournament,' Hawkins said.

The eventual champion at the second ranking event of the season will take home 46,000, with the runner-up earning nearly 20,000.
