The Ghana-born midfielder has made 14 appearances for the Gunners this term and started in Arsenal”s 2-1 win at Villa Park earlier this month.
McLeish is keen to bolster his midfield options, and according to the Daily Mirror, Frimpong tops his January wishlist.
But with Tomas Rosicky linked with a move away from the Emirates in January, and Jack WIlshere still sidelined through injury, it”s unclear whether Arsene Wenger would be prepared to allow Frimpong to leave.
