Arsenal confident of luring Palace starlet Zaha ahead of 9m January bid

Arsenal are growing increasingly confident they have won the race to land Crystal Palace wonderkid Wilfried Zaha.
The 20-year-old England international is a prime target for Arsene Wenger and the club will make a starting 9million offer next month.

And the Gunners believe they are in pole position to land the Ivory Coast-born forward.
Zaha – who is an Arsenal fan – is understood to have made the Emirates Stadium his first-choice.

Arsenal are still to conclude a deal with Palace, but the club will open formal discussions soon.
Zaha is also a target for Manchester United, Manchester City and Newcastle.
