Carroll back in training as Kenny explains 'niggle' caused mystery absence at Norwich

Andy Carroll has handed Liverpool a boost ahead of the FA Cup Final with a quick recovery from the injury that kept him out of action on Saturday.
The 35million striker was strangely absent from the squad that beat Norwich 3-0 at Carrow Road.
But Reds boss Kenny Dalglish has revealed that Carroll, who was Liverpool's hero in the semi-final against Everton, has already returned to training after recovering from a knock.

The former Newcastle ace, who bagged the winner that sent Liverpool back to Wembley for the FA Cup Final on May 5, is now in contention to face Fulham at Anfield on Tuesday after coming through the session at Melwood.

'He's training today,' Dalglish told the club's official website. 'It was just a niggle.
'Players are either going to be rested or they are going to play to give them the best possible opportunity to be available for Saturday, and Andy comes into the category.
'The safest thing to do was rest him on Saturday.'
