Salomon Rondon could be set to follow Santi Cazorla from Malaga to north London.

Cazorla is close to sealing a move to Arsenal and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has lined up a 10million bid for Rondon.

Villas-Boas is desperate to boost his attacking options with Jermain Defoe the only recognised striker at White Hart Lane.

Emmanuel Adebayor, who had a loan spell from Manchester City last season, appears to be pricing himself out of a permanent move with his high wage demands.

Villas-Boas will fancy his chances of landing 22-year-old Rondon as Malaga are strapped for cash.

Winger Cazorla is on the brink of moving to the Emirates Stadium for around 16m and Joris Mathijsen is on the way to Feyenoord.

Venezualan Rondon said: 'If the situation is not fixed it is normal that players would leave.'
