AVB sounds out Higuain about leaving Real Madrid for Chelsea
Andre Villas-Boas has made the first move in his bid to land Gonzalo Higuain by sending intermediaries to speak to the player”s agent.
Higuain has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid and Chelsea boss Villas-Boas wants to know if the striker would be willing to join the Blues.
Juventus are also keen on the 25million-rated Argentina international but Villas-Boas hopes to steal a march on the Italians.

The Stamford Bridge manager needs to a add a big-name forward with Nicolas Anelka joining Shanghai Shenhua, Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou set for Africa Cup of Nations duty and Fernando Torres still struggling to find anything like a run of form.
Drogba is also a target of several clubs, including Premier League rivals Tottenham, as he is yet to sort out his future with his contract up at the end of the season.
Daniel Sturridge has impressed up front for the Blues but Romelu Lukaku is still a raw teenager.

Higuain, 24, boasts and impressive scoring record since arriving in Spain in 2006 but he has failed to hold down a regular starting role under former Chelsea chief Jose Mourinho.
Paris St Germain and Higuain”s former club River Plate have also been keeping tabs on his situation.
Edinson Cavani from Napoli had been strongly linked with a switch to west London but Villas-Boas has shifted his focus to Higuain as he plans to shake up his squad.
Bolton defender Gary Cahill looks set to arrive in January while Porto winger Alvaro Pereira and young Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell remain targets.
