Keane to join up for Villa training on Monday to start short-term loan from the MLS
Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has claimed Robbie Keane should be able to join up with the club to begin his loan deal first thing on Monday.
He said: ‘There is a bit of red tape with LA Galaxy but, if we can get through that, he should be with us in the next 24 hours.’

McLeish hopes the Midlands club will
reap the benefits of the Republic of Ireland captain wanting to remain
sharp before the Major Soccer League resumes in March and ahead of this
summer's European Championship.
Villa owner Randy Lerner has sanctioned the deal outside the general sell-to-buy policy to which McLeish has to adhere because of the club's sizeable wage bill.
McLeish came close to signing Keane from Tottenham 12 months ago when Birmingham boss.
